We deliver mobile cancer care. We are dedicated to driving cancer care forward, bringing vital cancer care closer to thousands of patients. Through donations, we build and maintain mobile cancer care units, and together with the NHS, we want to help as many cancer patients as possible.

Story

On 01/04/2023 I shall be running a marathon in and around Bingley. It is my first marathon and I'm doing it for a cause close to my heart. As a lot of you already know, my dad was diagnosed with multiple myeloma last year. As part of his treatment he is required to go to hospital multiple times a week. This charity allows the hospital to come to him via a mobile cancer care unit. Unfortunately because it is quite an underfunded cause, Airedale hospital's mobile cancer unit is often parked up in their car park, making it redundant. I have seen first hand the effect the bus has had on my dad when it is able to operate properly, its so much easier to have your treatment locally than having to trail back and forth to the hospital 2 to 3 times a week, especially when you are feeling ill. By donating you are helping to keep the bus out of the hospital car park and out on the road where its needed most. It has a huge impact on not just the individuals suffering from cancer, but their families as well. Any donation will make a massive difference.

Thank you

Pete
