Stuart Spokes & Pete Brotherton will be cycling 1000 miles over 13 days between 28 May and 10 June. The ride is in memory of Stuart's daughter Hayley Marie Spokes who would have been 21 this year.
Hayley was diagnosed with neuroblastoma in 2000 when she was 4 years old. Neuroblastoma is a rare and very aggressive form of childhood cancer that affects around 100 children in the UK every year.
Hayley battled against the disease and the intensive treatment for the next 8 years but sadly lost her fight in 2008 aged 12.
Throughout her short life Hayley was an inspiration to everyone who knew her.
Chloe & Hayley's parents and sisters formed the charity in 2014 to commemorate the girls' 18th birthdays. Since its creation the charity has provided gifts and treats to over 70 children with life limiting illnesses.
Stu & Pete are funding the cost of the ride themselves so every penny of every donation will go directly towards helping these children who have much more difficult childhoods than they should have.
