Portfolio Execution are running several activities throughout October as part of Make A Difference (MAD) to raise funds for youth charities in response to a colleagues's experience with knife crime. 

We are kicking off the MAD events with the MAD Portfolio Execution Race Across the Atlantic. 

This virtual race will begin on Thursday 8 October and will cover the 3227 miles from our Glasgow office in the UK to Whippany in the USA. The miles will be completed during October by four teams from Portfolio Execution led by David Merrick, James Clark, Richard Dolan and Claire Barratt.

Team members will complete the number of miles they feel able to accomplish towards the team’s total and can be achieved in a number of ways, for example:

•    Walk / Run / Cycle / Swim / Row etc.
•    An activity of your choice, such as yoga or gym sessions (1 hour equates to 2.5 miles)

You can also get your family involved to help crunch the miles by having them accompany you in the activity of your choice. You get to count each person’s miles towards your total, so it’s a great way to double, triple etc. your miles – you can even sign your dog up!
