Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In the last few weeks, Jim’s daughter, Tilly’s  life has taken a big turn in that she was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. This has meant a big change in her daily life with injections and tests to ensure her blood sugar levels are correct. For an adult, it’s hard enough, but for a child like Tilly, it must be scary and intimidating knowing she has to be so disciplined on a day to day basis to make sure she is looking after herself right. Jim and I want to raise some money for Diabetes UK by running the Manchester Half Marathon, to help raise more awareness and contribute to more research of this condition. Please help us raise a few quid if you can. Your generosity would be much appreciated. Thanks,

Pete and Jim x
