Fundraising for Diabetes UK
Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In the last few weeks, Jim’s daughter, Tilly’s life has taken a big turn in that she was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. This has meant a big change in her daily life with injections and tests to ensure her blood sugar levels are correct. For an adult, it’s hard enough, but for a child like Tilly, it must be scary and intimidating knowing she has to be so disciplined on a day to day basis to make sure she is looking after herself right. Jim and I want to raise some money for Diabetes UK by running the Manchester Half Marathon, to help raise more awareness and contribute to more research of this condition.
