Where there's a Will there's a way- Longest Steepest Highest Quadrathlon
Campaign by Muscular Dystrophy UK (RCN 205395 (England and Wales) - SC039445 (Scotland))
On 30th and 31st August 2019 a team will swim, kayak, ride, and run through the Lake District to raise money for Muscular Dystrophy UK

Story

In June 2014, one of our closest friends son Will Taylor, was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, a severe muscle wasting condition for which there is no treatment or cure. Will is now 9 years old, and the condition is impacting on his mobility and his life. In a bid to help in finding an effective treatment for Will, his Mum and Dad, Sue and Sam, and group of friends, have set up this unique Challenge - the Longest Steepest Highest Quadrathlon.

The event will involve us swimming 1600 metres in Windermere lake, kayaking the 12.5 mile length of Windermere lake (Longest), 30 mile cycle ride which goes up the (Steepest) road in England, and then a run or walk up Scarfell Pike, the highest mountain in England.

Any amount of money that you donate will go direct to the Muscular Dystrophy UK which is supporting Will and his family.

Thank you in advance for your donation.
