Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am running in the Half Marathon that is being held on Sunday 18th September 2011 on behalf of Cransley Hospice and the Community Palliative Care Fund.  Dad passed away on 7th September 2011 and he received excellent care from the staff at Cransley.  I am also running in memory of my mum, who died of cancer, my sister Jaqueline and son Richard.

I haven't run anything close to a half marathon before but I'm just hoping that with a good wind behind me I'll find the inspiration from the family I've lost to complete the course within the allotted time.

So this is my chance to help by running 13.1 miles, but I need your help.  Any amount you can spare will help make a difference, a pound or two will be much appreciated.
