As you know I am the Program Director for Refugee programs at Bethany Christian Services of the Greater Delaware Valley. Please join me in supporting refugee kids and families. This year I will again be participating in our Agency's WalkRun event which will start on May 7 and end on May 21. Donations you make to sponsor me will go to support the world's most vulnerable people. Refugees are people without a country or a permanent home. Many have been living in dire conditions in refugee camps for years because they cannot safely return to their home country. The United Nations High Commission on Refugees and US Department of State have a very long vetting process that approves refugees for resettlement in the US. Bethany welcomes these refugees and provides them with services that allow them to feel safe, regain their dignity and become self-sufficient members of our communities.
