Hi there, thanks so much for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Unfortunately two of my friends little boy Ozzie is currently being cared for at the Ronald McDonald House in Newcastle, Australia for Leukaemia.  I worked with Nathan over a decade ago in Greece with some great times - but watching his and Alana's plight now from this side of the hemisphere as they look to offer the best care and support for Ozzie, even with the tremendous help of the House, is heart-breaking - especially when I consider that Ozzie is only a few months older than my own 2 year old son, Jakob.

Since being at the House Nathan & Alana have recently kick-started an initiative off their own back to redevelop some unused land behind the House, involving donations of time and materials from local tradespeople and the general public to transform the area into a play park for the children being cared for there.

I am planning to walk 34 miles from Canterbury Cathedral to Rochester Cathedral on Sunday November the 19th to raise funds for the Ronald McDonald House, Newcastle to help populate the garden or to use the funding as they see fit.

The great bit about this - is that my company will match donations £ for £ - please do not feel any donation is too small, as it will be effectively doubled. Think about it - skipping just two coffees/lattes = approx. GBP 5.00...
