Story
I am cycling the 28-mile Big Wheel course in July to raise money for St. Michael's Hospice. I have thankfully only had one experience of Hospice care in my life, but from that I know what an amazing service organisations like St. Michael's offer to people undergoing the most awful times in their lives. Please give generously.
PS, I'm doing the ride on a non-electric mountain bike #pedalpoweronly.
Information from St. Michael's Hospice: All our services are free of charge and are tailored to help patients and families cope as best they can with the challenges they face. This year it will cost over £5.5 million to operate and provide all our Hospice services to the local community and we receive around 20% funding from the North Hampshire Clinical Commissioning Group. The remaining funds comes from the kind donations made by people like you, Gifts in Wills, Lottery and Retail activities. With your help the Hospice can continue to provide the best professional care for our patients and families at a time when it is truly needed, and for that we thank you.The Fundraising Department of St. Michael's Hospice is constantly amazed and inspired by the generosity of you, our supporters, and find it especially touching how time and again you are able to think of the Hospice with a donation.
