St Luke’s is an independent charity caring for terminally ill adults and their loved ones across Sheffield. Each year, we care for around 1,900 patients most of whom are cared for in their own home by our Specialist Palliative Care Community team.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I heard about The Great North Swim (it will be on Lake Windermere!) through a friend earlier this year and decided to enter and try and raise funds for St. Luke's Hospice in Sheffield.  They do amazing things at St. Luke's (see detail opposite) and are a charity that I really believe in.  I would be very grateful for any donation you can contribute to this worthy cause.

I've never done an open water swim before so was realistic about the entry distance and will have to put in some preparation time at Heeley Pool this May!  If you can bare to see me in a wetsuit, then keep an eye out below - I'll post a photo at some point...
