Story

SUCCESS! Aches, pains - bad knees, swollen ankle, but over 960 miles later reached the end on Sunday 16 June in swirling winds and rain. Apologies for lack of updates, but I have been travelling since then (and sleeping). Pictures will appear as soon as I can manage it.

A HUGE THANK YOU TO ALL YOU HAVE DONATED!

Hello and thanks for visiting. I'm doing a punishing cycle ride across Britain - 960 miles in just 9 days from John O'Groats to Land's End 8-16 June - to raise money for two superb charities that tend to get less attention than most, and are vulnerable to severe government cuts in a time of growing austerity.

Wirral Autistic Society is an excellent grassroots organisation providing residential and day care for people with autism and Asberger's syndrome. They desperately need funding to build a new residential care home and help families with autistic children.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
