Air Ambulance NI are delighted to be one of the nominated charities for the Belfast City Marathon 2019, celebrating its 38th year, the marathon will be held on Sunday 5th May 2019.

Story

Air Ambulance N Ireland (AANI), in partnership with the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS), provides the Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) for the region and responds to seriously ill or injured patients 12 hours a day, 7 days per week, including those on the Mourne Mountains. It costs £5,500 per day to sustain this life saving service.

Air Ambulance NI, in partnership with the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS), provides the Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) for NI. Serious or life-threatening situations can happen to anyone at any time and on average every day one individual finds themselves in need of AANI.
