Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever.Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice. I am Peter O’Driscoll and my mother has been suffering with Dementia for over 6 years now, this has put the entire family under a lot of pressure and heartache in seeing my mother going through this. My dad had been her main carer for 4 years but for her safety and wellbeing she has been in a very beautiful residential home. Shortly after she was admitted in the care home my dear dad passed away very suddenly. I'm sure I'm not the only person who has a tragic story like mine there are so so many people who have been affected by dementia. Please help me to raise funds for this cause and do what we can to beat dementia once and for all.
