Story
As many of you know, Rosemary was coping with cancer for the last three and a half years of her life. The Royal Marsden Hospital in London played one of the biggest parts in extending her life and we will always be grateful for this.
The vemurafenib drug which Rosemary was on for nine months made it possible for her to still enjoy holidays in beautiful places, have an extra Christmas with her family and walk down the aisle in pink at Juliet’s wedding.
All of the staff who Rosemary came into contact with at Royal Marsden managed to make her feel cared for through their time, consideration and attentiveness. It meant a huge amount to Rosemary that she was able to be involved with the pioneering cancer research at the hospital and to be featured in the BBC Horizon programme about this in April 2012.
This JustGiving page is to help continue the Royal Marsden’s outstanding work.
