Consider this:  for twenty per cent of Rosemary's working life she was a teacher or a volunteer in Uganda and Nepal, helping girls to get an education in Fort Portal or working on improving education systems in Kathmandu:  six years abroad in all.

She had a passion for education, particularly of girls.

In Nepal one of the best organisations is Room to Read, which also supports education in seven other countries in Africa and Asia.

When Peter returns to Nepal he will visit Room to Read and tell them of Rosemary and of her life and her work.

Already the collection at the end of the Funeral Service on September 20 has raised over £1,050.
