Story

Hi Everyone
It’s coming up to Niamh’s 17th Birthday, 5th November. So next week, the day after Isabels 21st Birthday, 25th September, I am setting off on my own to take on the the Camino de Santiago, the French way. This is a Pilgrimage walk From Saint Jean Pied de Port in the South West of France, across the Pyrenees and the North of Spain to Santiago de Compostela. The walk will take about 34 days if all goes well but I have a 5 day contingency in case of injury. The distance is 454 miles, which means I will have to cover about 18 miles a day to complete the Pilgrimage and be back in time to celebrate Niamh’s Heavenly Birthday with Family. I am asking for sponsorship for my Pilgrimage with all proceeds going to Francis House Children’s Hospice where Niamh passed away last year. I will  try to post updates of my Pilgrimage walk when possible, if I have the energy.
