As some of you may be aware I am a volunteer football coach for North Kelvin United. The team I coach are aged between 6-8 year old and we form part of the North Glasgow Football Development Group (NGFDG). This is a prominent sports club within Glasgow who rely solely upon fundraising to keep the team afloat. We run many workshops in primary schools trying to tackle sectarianism and give opportunities to people of all ages and abilities to play football in poverty stricken areas of Glasgow.

On Sunday 8^th of June the club are running a 10K to raise as much funds as possible to cover our overheads (gym hall, pitch hires etc.) and to replace the old kits that we have. We are fortunate to have been sponsored for some of the kit but we are hoping to individually raise as much as we can to cover the costs on behalf of the families.
