The Wales Air Ambulance Charity provides advanced life-saving emergency care for everyone in Wales, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We are a ‘mobile emergency department’ that relies entirely on donations to keep our helicopters in the air and rapid response vehicles on the road.

Story

On the 31st of August 2014 I was competing in a downhill Mountain bike race at Llangollen, my partner Jude had Joined me for the weekend trip away as she frequently liked to do.

While spectating Jude sustainined a severe head injury.

The Wales Air Ambulance service were critical in giving Jude immediate care and ensuring Jude was transferred to the Trauma Center at North Staffordshire hospital in a timely manner. Jude passed away while in hospital, the Air Ambulance enabled Jude's family and I a chance to spend time by her side and say goodbye.

To me Jude was the perfect, caring and loyal partner who I had the honour of creating some amazing memories with. I want to raise as much money as possible for the Welsh Air Ambulance in memory of Jude.

I will be cycling the sea to sea (Whitehaven to Tynemouth) in a day on the 13th June 2015 with Jude's brother-in-law Howie. In addition at a later date I will complete a skydive which I am currently in the process of organising.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
