The Objectives of HELP! can be described very simply - to provide assistance to disadvantaged families, and specifically the children, of Eastern Sri Lanka. The principle upon which the charity operates is equally as simple - ALL funds raised by the charity will be spent in East Lanka on projects identified by its trustees. Everyone involved with HELP offers their services on a voluntary basis and the banking arrangements have been set up specifically to ensure that all funds transferred to Sri Lanka will go directly to the worthwhile causes identified by the trustees.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my Ride Across Britain 2011 JustGiving page. I am cycling the 953 Miles from John 0'Groats to Land's End in 9 days from June 11th to 19th 2011.

I am personally funding the entire cost of taking part in the ride so your donation will all go to HELP!.  Please dig deep and donate now.

Help! was formed to help the families and specifically the children of East Lanka affected by the devasting Tsunami of December 2004.  My son Will and his friends are helping progress a number of projects this summer.  The Charity is run on an entirely voluntary basis so all of the money you donate will go directly to funding relief projects which include the refurbishment of the Amman girls orphanage and relocation of the "Little Flowers" School.  For more information about the Charity and its work please visit www.helpingeastlankaprogress.org.uk

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
