Story
All too often, pancreatic cancer is well developed by the time it’s diagnosed.
I'm riding my bicycle throughout November to help transform the future of pancreatic cancer treatment. As some readers will know, I have a particularly special reason for wanting to support this essential cause. Pancreatic cancer is the deadliest common cancer. Half of those with the disease die within three months from diagnosis. With research underfunded and overlooked, people are left with only hope to hold onto. That’s why I'm appealing to you for your financial support as I ride my bike during Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month.
Donate now and you could help put a test in the hands of every GP to aid early diagnosis, which as we all know, is imperative.
Together, we can raise awareness of the disease and the signs and symptoms that occur, so that people can get a crucial diagnosis, sooner. Just £29 could fund further research to improve the speed of diagnosis. £212 could allow researchers to study 13 patient samples to learn more about the genetic changes that make people more likely to develop pancreatic cancer.
Thank you so much for visiting my page, I hope you will think it's worth helping me reach my target. 🙏 Peter Walker
