As you all probably know every year we do something to raise money for MNDA in memory of the most amazing man I'll ever know - my Dad - Peter. He would have been 60 this year so as a family we are trying to raise at least £60 a months for the whole year.

We really appreciate everyone's donations and hope you will continue to support us in raising money for research into this horrible disease and also to help carers and families in practical ways.

Motor Neurone Disease (MND) is a progressive disease that attacks motor neurones, or nerves, in the brain and spinal cord. This means messages gradually stop reaching muscles, which leads to weakness and wasting. MND affects how you walk, talk, eat, drink and breathe and the average life span from diagnosis is 2 years.
