We, Pete & Rachel, are helping to raise funds for the Bone Cancer Research Trust. We are attempting to run the most famous half marathon, The Great North Run on September 10th, 2017.

We are doing this in memory of Mary, our friends daughter. She just just 11 years old when she was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, a type of bone cancer. She was a lovely girl that enjoyed lots of activities and sports. She was a great Liverpool supporter. She loved helping others and often put her friends first.

Throughout her illness, she never complained and always stayed brave. Mary passed away on New Year's Day 2012.

Mary is remembered every day by her family & friends, and through fund raising in her memory, we aim to raise awareness and help find a cure against primary bone cancer.
