We provide unconditional friendship, support and practical help to people in crisis and in need. We work with children, homeless people, all adult victims of modern slavery and those dealing with drug and/or alcohol addiction

Story

The Salvation Army in Peterborough are called to come alongside people struggling with mental health.

In September 2021 we commence two wellbeing projects; a gardening club and craft time, which local social prescribers will prescribe to patients in our community to.

Together we will create in a safe friendly space, whilst we do our activity.  A great place to come, get out the house and occupy minds with new skills and interests.

Lorraine is unfit and just a beginner cyclist. This challenge will be a challenge, but she is up for it, as it is good for her own wellbeing.

Why not support Lorraine to support others by donating.

All the money raised will cover the start up costs for the new Craft Time and Gardening Club. Any additional money raised will not go to waste as we actually want to remove hedges and expand our garden space to me more accessible for greater things.
