Cherry Trees provides home from home specialist short breaks for children and young people aged 0-19 with a range of disabilities including learning, physical and sensory impairments. We believe that every child is an individual with the right to enjoy a normal pattern of life in the community

Story

On October 25th of this year I completed my first Ironman triathlon in Clermont, Florida. I competed in this race in an effort to raise money for Cherry Trees, a charity close to my home town in the UK which provides respite care for children with disability. As some of you may know, my sister Fiona has a son, Benjamin, who is severely disabled. Fiona and her husband care for Ben at home, but he frequently visits Cherry Trees at the weekends which enables the Family to balance his care and needs with the demands from the rest of the Family. Thanks for visiting my fundraising page www.justgiving.com/peterbrown28 . Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It's also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Cherry Trees gets your money faster and, if you're a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation. So please sponsor me now!
