Hi guys, those who remember me and those who don't.

I got into running only about 18 months ago after suffering from a very long illness. It's helped me in all kinds of ways but it gives me the opportunity to support some worthwhile causes too.

One of these is the hospital where my old friend from the Catholic College, Andy Dixon, was treated after being fatally injured in a cycling accident near his home in Surrey in 2012. It is his sixth anniversary on 17th September. His loss is still felt by his wife Sarah and two boys, Fred and George. 

It would be really great if you could support my efforts on 30th September and the more there is riding on it, the harder I'll run. Please give whatever you can and let's give a big boost to Sarah and her boys.
