Run Fat Boy Run! This Doughboy is gonna go for it!

The Event: The Robin Hood Half Marathon 2008.

The Challenge: To complete the course! Over 13 miles (Thirteen miles! Whatever was i thinking!) of hills, roads and breathless staggering. And not even a single pie shop along the route.

The Plea: Please dig deep and sponsor me. Every donation made will make a difference and your support will help me through the 23,023 yards and the 23,022 stitches i anticipate getting.

The Serious Bit: All monies raised will go to Myeloma UK. Myeloma is a form of bone marrow cancer that accounts for 1 per cent of all cancers diagnosed in the UK and is diagnosed in 4000 new patients every year. Historically the cancer is most prevalent in over fifties however ten per cent of new cases are under this age. The cancer may therefore with impunity affect anyone and Myeloma UK provide an invaluable service.
