Peter's killing Kili · 11 August 2014

Hull & East Yorkshire Medical Research Centre (Daisy Appeal) opened in 2008. The charity built the Jack Brignall PET-CT Scanning Centre in 2014. In 2024 we built a Molecular Imaging Research Centre to produce PET CT tracers. We are fundraising for a £3m digital scanner to help save more lives.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my page.

I'm incredibly lucky to have the chance to take a 10 day, 5895m high (19314 ft) trek up Africa's largest mountain, Kilimanjaro!

While I am away enjoying myself (Sherpa carrying my bag, cooking my food and washing my dishes); Nicky will be home alone, dealing with my son and 4 year old heir, 24/10!

One of us, at least, surely deserves your sponsorship.

The monies raised will be donated to our local charity the Daisy Appeal. They need to raise £2m to bring equipment that will provide a quicker diagnosis for heart disease and dementia for local people in Hull, East Riding and North Lincolnshire.

This equipment will no doubt help someone you know in the future.  Please consider donating, any amount you can spare will make a difference.
