We provide specialist services to help people with autism & their families

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.  Peterhouse is a non-maintained specialist School for children and young people on the Autism Spectrum.  We have been judged to be Outstanding by Ofsted and are working hard to offer our young people the very best opportunities, so we are looking to raise funds for additional resources and activities - your donations will help our young people to achieve their potential and become successful adults with autism.

Many of our young people find working with IT and multimedia equipment to be particularly rewarding and motivating and a number of them really excel in this area.  Sadly, a lot of the equipment at school is now falling behind the times, not able to run the latest software or having to be shared amongst a large number of pupils.  We hope to modernise and extend our facilities, so that we can offer pupils to best learning opportunities.  This equipment will also help facilitate remote and blended learning, which is relevant not just during Covid - some of our pupils find attending school very challenging, for example because of anxieties, and being able to link to school remotely is highly valuable to support their individual needs.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
