I've honestly signed up for this by impulse - to do something unique, and help a cause that's near to my heart (having donated a couple times to shelter, and doing an event for them).

What is it? Well basically I've signed up for 3 rounds of amateur boxing... for charity! I'm getting punched in the face to fundraise for akt, a charity that helps homeless LGBT youth get the support & shelter they need to live their lives.

It's far beyond the time that younger folk should be free to be themselves, and knowing there's a trust for helping them out in what must be very dark times? (to come out to those who should be trustable, and then be thrown out without support?) That means something to me, and that's why I'm going to put my full energy into this event.

I'm already coming to this with some determination to do right by this cause, but each donation will get me to push harder, so donate!
