Naively, I promised Alison McGregor (of HSBC and Beatson fame! https://www.linkedin.com/in/alison-mcgregor-0727624b/)  to help with "some fundraising” for the Beatson a few months ago! I thought I volunteered to sell some raffle tickets or donate dinner at WEST to an auction. Little did I know I signed up to jump out of a bloody aeroplane! I only discovered this small but important detail when I got asked last week what size of jumpsuit (the simple answer is large enough for my supersized underpants!) I will need for this crazy stunt. My only hope now is that I’ll be strapped to a REALLY handsome man who will keep me from pooping said underpants. BUT, never one to shy from a challenge, I am indeed jumping out of a plane near St. Andrews on Saturday the 12th of October and I really really want to make that scary task raise money for charity! 

People who know me well will appreciate that I am not someone who asks you for money every other day so please peeps don’t let me down! My granny Betti died of cancer in 1999 and I still miss her every day. She was my hero and I hope I’ll do her proud. The beauty of running a brewery is that I am hoping to bribe you all with FREE BEER. So, anyone who donates more than £100 to my fundraising efforts will be rewarded threefold. Firstly, you’ll receive a case of your favourite WEST beer free. Secondly, you will feel really good about yourself for supporting cancer research and, maybe most importantly, I will be in your debt forever (which will likely lead to more free beer).
