Story

On January the 3rd 2016 I received the devastating news that my Dad had passed away. At the age of 48 this was completely unexpected and it has been the hardest thing that I have ever had to deal with.

Dad had been suffering with depression and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder since leaving the Army. He served his country for 25 years and was a well respected and loved member of his regiment (1st Royal Tank Regiment).

Throughout Dad's life everybody he met loved him. He was a fun and loving man who loved his friends and family very much. He gave so much love to me and my sister and luckily we have so many fantastic memories with him. I miss him everyday and would do anything to see him again.

The Great Glen Way is Scotland's fourth National Long Distance Walking Route. The route travels from Inverness to Fortwilliam. The walk usually takes 6/7 days but I will be walking it, with family and friends, in 4 days on the 28th of July 2017.

I have chosen to raise money for Combat Stress because I don't want any other Heroes to suffer like my Hero.
