Someone is diagnosed with blood cancer in the UK every 20 minutes, and many will need a blood stem cell transplant for a second chance at life. We are committed to increasing the number of potential blood stem cell donors in the UK, so that there is a donor for everyone who needs one.

Story

Phil Lester is an amazingly positive person who makes us smile. The phandom would like to give back.

In honour of his 33rd birthday, we are fundraising for DKMS. DKMS is an
international non-profit organisation with offices in the UK (opened
2013), India, operating together with our partner BMST (2019), Chile
(2018), Poland (2009), the United States (2004) and Germany (1991).

They  have more than 8 million potential donors registered and have given more than 69,000 second chances of life to people diagnosed with blood cancer. The worldwide search for new donors continues though as many people are still not able to find the matching donor they need. Please register if you can through https://www.dkms.org.uk/en/register-now or a service in your own country.
