This is as good as it is going to get.  If I am not ready now I never will.  Number attached to vest, feet powered up and iPod and watch fully charged.  It is going to be a hot sweaty affair. 

For those still wanting to sponsor me I would be immensely grateful I am only a few £'s short of my target and it really is such a great cause to be running for.

I must be truly mad to be attempting the London Marathon for the fourth time - this time without the running support of my family.  To make matters worse this may not be the last time I run a marathon but will probably be my last chance at a PB.  My legs are getting more weary, my feet are sore and my brain is more muddled!  However, my desire to raise money for a fantastic cause and something I  believe in is no less ardent.  

Over the Easter Holidays I once againhelped the PHAB team to treat twenty less able guests to a packed week of fun activities.  The hosts all came from St Helen's and  Merchant Taylors' Schools and they are on duty 24 hours a day from beginning to end.  Funds to support the ever increasing costs of this week are raised entirely by the schools themselves.  My contribution is much simpler than anything resulting in the hard work of the students.
