Sense Scotland is a Scottish charity and specialised social care provider supporting people with communication support needs associated with complex and sensory disabilities, and their families, where individual needs and choices come first.

Story

On the 29th September a group of runners from the Phastar Glasgow office will be taking part in the Great Scottish Run 10K to raise money for Sense Scotland, which supports disabled people and their families throughout Scotland. We are aiming to raise money for them to develop their sensory garden, to allow individuals to explore and develop their senses in a safe environment.

Sense Scotland was formalised as a charity in 1985. It grew quickly, from its beginnings as a small group of families pressing for services for their children, who were affected by deafblindness, many because of maternal rubella. Since then, the organisation has gone on to successfully support thousands of disabled people and their families, in thousands of projects and services, throughout Scotland.

Thanks for supporting :)
