Three Peaks 2009 · 19 July 2009 ·

We’re more determined than ever to make sure new generations, especially young people from disadvantaged groups, can discover the power of DofE.

Story

Thank you for supporting our team! We are planning to climb the highest Scottish peak - Ben Nevis, followed by the highest English peak - Scafell Pike, and finally the highest Welsh peak - Snowdon. It is planned to do all this over a 24-hour period across 18th & 19th July 2009! All to support the delivery of the Duke of Edinburgh's Award to young people across the South West of England.

Some of us aren't as fit as we used to be and so the training programme has begun in earnest! We hope to put some photos and videos on this page as we get through our training, so keep coming back - and if you choose to donate more than once that's great too!

However you know us, we are grateful for your support and ask you to give generously.

In order to recognise the support of the army and the ACF in the management of this event, the DofE will also be making a donation to Help for Heroes from the money raised.
