Each year at DePuy we try to raise funds for a worthy cause. This year is particularly poignant as we are raising funds for St Gemma's Hospice who looked after a long standing colleague of ours in his last days. It's sobering to think that Stan was on the walk with us last year and yet we are raising funds in his memory just a year later. We all hope that we won't be affected by cancer and yet nearly every one of us will be impacted in some way over our lifetime. St Gemma's provides support at a time when families are going through the most difficult times and yet we rely on a charity to provide such a crucial service when you would assume the NHS is funded to provide this cover. Sadly not. Please support our efforts to raise funds for a cause any one of us may need to rely on at some time.
