It’s unacceptable that more than half of people diagnosed with the deadliest common cancer die within three months. That’s why they need and deserve more. More research, more funding, more breakthroughs. More than hope. Together we’ll make that possible.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In February this year my beautiful wife Maggie very sadly passed away from Pancreatic Cancer. This has left myself, our two sons Charlie and Sam, our family and friends absolutely devastated with a huge hole in all of our lives and it will be a very long time before we can fully come to terms with it.

Maggie was so very health conscious, energetic, fit and so full of life, that it was devastating to see her deteriorate so rapidly from her diagnosis in April last year from this dreadful illness. When she was diagnosed the cancer had already spread and this is often the case with Pancreatic Cancer. By the time you know you have it, it is in most cases already too late.

On September 23rd, myself and a number of friends and family collectively known as the 'Live Life to the Mags' team will be cycling from London to Paris in memory of Mags and to raise money for fighting this terrible illness, so hopefully other families will not need to go through the heartache that we are suffering.
