My uncle has Parkinson's disease, and has benefited from the excellent support network and community groups which Parkinson's UK has funded. I also have a student who is able to attend a choir for sufferers of PD and their families, which has been a very useful therapy for him, and helps give him control over some symptoms. In these straightened financial times, with cuts to funding for care and research, every penny counts, so I have decided to raise money to support Parkinson's UK by running in IM Wales 2018
