It's 20 years since I did any running like this, and with dodgy knees and a few other things not worth mentioning, frankly it shows.

But I'm 60 in a few weeks time so I thought that I'd raise some money by doing something foolish that people would think worth supporting.

Please give generously as I've been in pain ever since I started training late last year.  Sadly my finishing time (if any) won't be anything to write home about so all I will have is the satisfaction that that I raised some vital funds for a great charity and that I tried.
