Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am a longstanding pituitary patient, and have been helped over the years by The Pituitary Foundation. It is a great charity, providing excellent information, help and advice to pituitary patients, and their families and friends. Pituitary illness is relatively rare, and finding good help is difficult - for many the charity is a lifeline.
I now volunteer for the Foundation and am a Trustee. Like many smaller charities, it has been hugely affected by the Coronavirus situation, and will lose significant income at a time when its services are desperately needed. Many patients are vulnerable to the virus.
The charity is running a 500 Faces fundraising campaign - each 'Face' undertakes to donate or raise a minimum of £100. We are joining as 5 Faces, and will run a half marathon as a team around our house here in Bath on Saturday 25th April - there is just about room to do that! We will measure our run on Strava, and will enjoy posting some pictures. We undertake to raise a minimum of £500, but we hope to raise more. We will match whatever we raise as a donation from our family - so whatever you donate will mean twice that goes to the charity.
Please be generous with your donations to this important cause! Thank You.
Please also join the campaign yourself - think of something entertaining / challenging to do while we are all in lockdown, and get fundraising! Visit the Pituitary Foundation website for details - there is a separate website for the 500 Faces Campaign which you can link to from there.
Giving through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Charities pay a small fee for our service. Learn more about fees
