Story
On friday 26th September 2025, I had a phone call from my dad to let me know that my brother kriss had passed away at the age of 30 years old, to say this devastating news had a real impact not just to us the family but to everyone who had the pleasure in meeting him he was the kindest soul. I was very proud to call him my brother.
On the morning of the September 28th Megan and I decided we need to make a positive out of such horrific and devastating negative and do something that kriss would of loved joining us to do, he would always be seen wearing his MIND T-shirt and he was a keen supporter so it was the perfect choice.
Megan and I have 2 young children and work full time jobs but that won't stop us clocking up the miles, you ll see updates and pictures along the way of our journey and anyone can track our progress through strava even on some walk the 2 children will be joining us and as we walk we hope kriss is walking beside us,
During the walk its our time to talk and share the special moments we shared with kriss and the funny moments (trust me there's a few) which put a smile on our faces.
Thank you fir taking the time to read this and thanks for the donations, support and just the general checking in. 💙🤍💙🤍 up the u's
I’m taking on 90 miles in October for Mind — and every step is for someone who feels they’ve run out of options.Right now, Mind’s phone lines are the busiest they’ve ever been. In the UK 1 in 4 of us will face a mental health problem this year, yet too many still wait in silence. Mind is often their only lifeline — on the phone, in local communities, and fighting for change so no one is left behind. Please support my 90 miles in October challenge by donating to my fundraising page 🙏🏻Your donation will ensure that information and support is available for everyone — on Mind's website, the helplines they run and throughout their online community, Side by Side. Thank you 💙
