Brathay - London Marathon
Campaign by Brathay Trust (RCN 1021586)
Running a marathon is an enormous personal achievement. Our London Marathon Golden Bond runners not only complete one of the most famous races in the world, but also raise funds to support some of the UK's most vulnerable children and young people.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have massive target, and even though I've raised a lot of money for charity, I've never raised more than £1,000 in a single event' so I'm scared of missing the target and letting the Brathay Trust down.

Brathay shares believes that everyone can do extraordinary things and they aim to bring out the best in those that they support. Their aim is to improve the lives of children and young adults and I hope I can help spread their message just that little bit further and through my fundraising.

I have already competed 11 marathons and two ultra marathons, so I'm no stranger to the distance... but I've never broken the sub-4 hour mark, so I've employed a personal trainer to help improve my strength for those particularly painful last 8 miles 😊

I'm committed to running the rearranged London Marathon on October 4th. The new date will give me more time to raise more money and get into better shape for the challenge.

If you can spare a pound or two to help me on my way I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks.
