British Heart Foundation, London to Brighton Bike Ride 2019 · 16 June 2019 ·

Thank you to everyone who supports the British Heart Foundation by participating in London to Brighton Bike Ride.

Story

Thanks for visiting Phil and Christine’s page.

In 2017, we cycled the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 46 (46 miles) and in 2018, we cycled The Prince’s Trust Palace to Palace (45 miles).

This year we are cycling from London to Brighton (54 miles) to raise money for the British Heart Foundation's research and we would be so grateful for your support.

The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives. It's only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures. £24 could pay for two hours of research by an early career scientist, but every pound helps so please give what you can to help us hit our target.

Thank you.

18th May update

Yay, we have met our initial fundraising target for BHF (£500), so we have now set ourselves a further challenging target.

Almost as challenging as the 54 miles on the bike!

8th June update

Wow!

Thanks to the amazing generosity of our family and friends, we have reached our further challenging target (£750). Perhaps time for one final push, so we have raised our target one final time.

Bit like our final push up Ditchling Beacon?!
