Story
Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page that is dedicated to supporting my efforts to raise money for the Animal Cancer Foundation.
My "Home is Where the Heart (& Half Marathon) is" fundraising campaign involves me running in 12 different half marathons during the 2022 calendar year, with each 13.1-mile race taking place in one of three different U.S. states I have called "home" during my lifetime (i.e., NH, TN, & KY) and benefitting the Animal Cancer Foundation and five other charities near and dear to me (i.e., The American Cancer Society, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, American Lung Association, Alzheimer's Association, & Best Friends Animal Society). Each charity selected raises awareness, attracts attention, and generates funding to fight one (or more) of the illnesses or health conditions that have afflicted beloved family members, friends, or pets of mine over the years.
