Thank you for taking the time to visit my fundraising page.
For those of you who know me well you know that over the last few years Running has become a passion. You will also know that I love a challenge and in April 2023 I will be running the London Marathon in support of The Donkey Sanctuary.
The Donkey Sanctuary is doing important work both here in the U.K. and worldwide with the aim of improving the welfare of Donkey’s who are facing ever greater challenges on a daily basis.
Indeed I myself never realised that each year approximately 4.8million Donkey’s are slaughtered for their skins. The collagen taken from their skin is used in the production of ejiao an ingredient used in the production of traditional Chinese medicine.
There are many charities out there which are all equally deserving of our support but I hope you will join me in trying to make a difference, in whatever small way we can, for Donkeys everywhere.
