Having witnessed first hand extreme poverty in many regions of the world and the terrible long term effects of it on people I feel an obligation to assist and support poverty alleviation whenever and however I can. 

Gorta is a truly incredible organisation that is empowering smallholder farmers through micro finance schemes, building farmer cooperatives and supporting education programs in Africa. Their existence has and continues to give individuals and communities the confidence and tools to secure futures.
