Story
To celebrate the 15th Anniversary of the NAB connection with St.Josephs Hospice. On Wednesday 7th September myself, John McClusky, Simon Nye and Vicky Fensome are taking part in the NAB Great East End Walk to raise vital funds to support St Joseph's Hospice. This unique 10-mile walk, celebrating all things East End, will take us through both well-trodden and lesser-known parts of London's East End and into the City of London.
To make the walk more challenging the team have agreed to undertake it in fancy dress if the sum raised exceeds £2,500. The person(s) donating the highest amount will have the honour of choosing the outfits (No mankinis or polka dot bikinis).
St Joseph's Hospice is reliant on the kindness of supporters to provide high quality, specialist palliative care and support to people in the East London community who have a life-limiting illness. To keep this service going they have to raise £16,000 each day! For example, £101 could pay for a community nurse to visit a patient in their own home, and ensure their vital services can continue. All donations are greatly appreciated.
