Story

Challenge Cancer Cycle: Aintree offers us all the chance to get out on our bikes. I felt compelled to join this challenge as very recently I lost my nan after she had battled Cancer for many years.

I was also shocked to learn about the death of the singer Jennie Walsh in November 2021. I had played drums on several of her songs and she was immensely talented . She fought a very brave battle and left behind a young family also 😔

Also, my brother-in-law Danny  was diagnosed earlier this year and is thankfully now recovering well!

Many friends and colleagues have also been affected recently by this disease. Cancer affects everyone and all families at some stage it seems, so I just want to help the best way I can - by riding my bike and raising as much as possible for a great cause.

I understand times are tough for everyone currently so any donations are really welcome - thank you all
