Story

Hi!

My name is Philip and I am a very keen swimmer.  I have swum in lots of special Olympic galas and taken part in the Special Olympic World Games in Abu Dhabi where I came home with gold and silver medals.  As a man with Downs syndrome, I have overcome many challenges.  I live independently and I also have two jobs!.  I work hard and I play hard!!  One thing that I have wanted to do is put my swimming to good use.  I decided to take part in the Marathon Swim on November 12th at the London Olympic Stadium.  I am raising money for blind and visually impaired people.  The money I raise will help to support these people to live happy and independent lives.

Please help me to make a difference.
