Goodwill Children's Home - 3 Peaks Challenge · 15 October 2010 ·

Goodwill Children's Homes support the care and education of destitute children, and we help them become independent, self-supporting members of society. We fund children’s homes, a school, and a Tribal Outreach Programme (TORP) that encourage tribal communities to send their children to school.

Story

I am taking on the 'Three Peaks Challenge' in October on behalf of Goodwill Childrens Homes.

This challenge involves climbing the three highest peaks in Great Britain in 24hours.  It starts with climbing Ben Nevis in Scotland, before tackling Scafell Pike in England and finishing with climbing Snowdon in Wales.

The date for this event is 15th October 2010, so being October the weather is unpredictable, but most likely cold - very cold.

I have covered the costs of transport and food etc for myself, so any donation will be directly to the charity and go to help the great work the charity does.

I've created a blog where I'm posting info about my training for this challenge.  The url is: phil-three-peaks.blogspot.com
